Preparing For Your First Visit
“Welcome to our clinic! We look forward to partnering with you on your health journey. To ensure your first acupuncture session is deeply relaxing and effective, please review the preparation guidelines below and complete your secure intake form before arriving.”
What to Wear
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Pants and sleeves that easily roll up above your knees and elbows are ideal for point access.
What to Eat
Eat a light meal or snack 1–2 hours before your visit. Please do not receive acupuncture on a completely empty stomach or immediately after a heavy meal.
Arrival Time
Your initial intake and treatment will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to park and settle into the space.
Clinic Policies
Free parking is available in front and side of the building. Handicapped accessible in the side of the building closer to the gas station. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor; our clinic is the third door on the right.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, major credit cards, Venmo, Checks and HSA/FSA accounts.
Please note there is a convience fee for Credit and Debit Card of 3.95%
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. Late cancellation fee is equal to 80% of the cost of the scheduled appointment for the first occurrence, and the full visit fee will be charged for any subsequent missed appointment.
Same goes for insurance patients. It will be 80% of our regular fee (Not just the copay) for first occurrence, and full visit fee for subsequent missed appointment.
Acupuncture needles are hair-thin and sterile. You may feel a tiny, fleeting tap upon insertion, followed by a dull ache or tingling sensation. Most patients find the experience deeply relaxing and drift off to sleep.
